An Interesting BBC Article
BBC News just published a comparison of health care in the US, England, France, and (for some reason) Singapore. The results are what you would expect--we pay more and get less than any of these other countries. Look at the statistics HERE.
Check out "Status-Quo Anxiety" in the current New Yorker, invoking psychological concepts including the Endowment Effect and Status-Quo Bias for a partial explanation of the irrationality in the current fevered debate.
