About Me

My photo
Gary White
Girona, Catalonia, Spain
I was born in southern Kansas in 1937, started first grade in Cedar Vale, Kansas in 1943, and completed high school there in 1955. After two bachelor's degrees and a master's from the University of Kansas, and a PhD from Michigan State University I spent the next 28 years as professor of music at Iowa State University, retiring in 1994. Since that time my wife, Elyn, and I have lived in Colorado, Spain, France, Santa Fe, and now back in Spain.
